I was born in Damascus, Syria and moved to Canada when I was 7 years old.

Today, and over the coming months, thousands of Syrian Refugees are arriving ready to call Canada 'home'.

I was welcomed and loved by Canada and we must do the same for these people who have been through so much and are looking for stability and community.

Let's welcome them with our arms wide open.
